Job Description CEDA is looking to hire a Project Administrator based out of our Fort McMurray, AB location. Reporting to the Team Lead, Accounting and Financial Planning & Analysis, the Project Administrator supports the Finance and Operations teams through project set‑ups, financial reporting, data analysis, and system updates. This role plays an important part in maintaining accurate project information and supporting timely financial and operational decision‑making.

Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week

Key Duties & Responsibilities
Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting for internal and external stakeholders, including preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting documentation
Set up assigned projects and maintain accurate project information within financial reporting and field data management systems
Work closely with Accounting and Operations teams to identify, investigate, and resolve project billing and cost variances
Review and reconcile information between field data collection platforms and accounting systems, investigating discrepancies and making adjustments as required
Generate and distribute daily financial and operational reports to support business analysis and management decision-making
Extract, import,



and organize data using Microsoft Excel-based tools and established processes
Coordinate project close‑out reviews, ensuring project activities are complete, billing has been finalized, and all outstanding financial or administrative items have been addressed
Provide additional accounting, reporting, and administrative support as required
Role Specifications
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in contract administration, project administration, project billing, or a similar role
Experience using financial or project accounting applications is an asset, bonus pointsfor experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX or Salesforce Field FX
Intermediate Excel skills, including PivotTables, formulas, and graphsis an asset
Experience with daily field capture or field data collection systems is an asset
Experience interpreting construction-type contracts is an asset
Personal Characteristics
Detail-oriented and organized, with an eye for accuracy and a knack for keeping information clean and up to date
Analytical by nature and comfortable working with numbers, digging into discrepancies, and figuring out what doesn’t add up
Able to juggle multiple priorities and competing deadlines without losing sight of the details
A strong communicator who enjoys working with Finance, Operations, and multiple Service Lines to keep things moving
Self‑motivated and proactive, with the initiative to follow established processes while looking for ways to make things better
