Staff Accountant / Public Practice
Vancouver Island, BC - Hybrid
$55,000-$68,000/year
Our client is a long-established CPA firm serving the North Island for over 50 years. We're looking for a motivated accounting qualified to join our team and work with a diverse group of long-standing clients.

What you'll do:

Prepare compilation engagements using CaseWare

Prepare corporate, personal, and trust tax returns

Handle bookkeeping, payroll, GST, and reconciliations

Communicate with clients and manage deadlines

What we’re looking for:

1-4 years of Canadian accounting/bookkeeping experience

Strong bookkeeping and accounting skills

Compilation experience preferred

CaseWare/Taxprep experience is an asset





Strong attention to detail and communication skills

CPA students and experienced accounting technicians are welcome

What we offer:

35-hour work week for most of the year
