Agnico Eagle is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer for a Fly-In Fly-Out position. Utilize your expertise in geotechnical engineering and project management within a leading mining team.

As part of the Workplace Department, you will report directly to the Water Management & Geotechnical Engineering Coordinator. This position focuses on tailings and water management infrastructure, ensuring compliance with Agnico Eagle’s safety and environmental standards. Your role will involve fieldwork, analyzing instrumentation data, and preparing critical engineering documents.

Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor tailings and water management systems
• Analyze geotechnical instrumentation data
• Draft engineering specifications and reports
• Oversee geotechnical investigations and projects
• Manage QA/QC for construction and maintenance

Requirements:
• Degree in Civil, Mining, or Geotechnical Engineering
• Minimum 4 years’ mining engineering experience
• Experience in earthwork and field operations
• Knowledge of Muck 3D and CAD tools
• Membership in a Canadian Engineering society
