In this key role, you will report to the Director of Care while working collaboratively with the care team. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will conduct resident assessments, implement care plans, and provide direct nursing care. Your expertise in communication and clinical knowledge is essential for ensuring high-quality care for our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct resident assessments and maintain accurate documentation
• Implement and evaluate personalized care plans
• Provide direct nursing care and administer necessary treatments
• Educate residents and families on health and care plans
• Coordinate with physicians and manage medical emergencies
Requirements:
• Current LPN registration in British Columbia
• Experience in senior or long-term care preferred
• Robust clinical knowledge and care coordination skills
• CPR and First Aid certification required
• Proficiency in electronic documentation and Microsoft Office
