In this position, you will be integral to a team that supports nearly 29,000 students. Your expertise will help in developing specific strategies to address communication requirements across various educational settings. You’ll also provide vital consultations to teachers and families, focusing on optimizing students' speech and language developments. A graduate degree and CSASK licensing are essential, with a preference for those experienced in early childhood education.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and manage speech and language disorders
• Collaborate with educational staff for intervention planning
• Offer guidance to parents about communication techniques
• Implement individualized student care strategies
• Operating across multiple school locations in the division
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology
• Licensed with the College of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists of Saskatchewan
• Experience in early childhood education is a plus
• Capacity to work in diverse school environments
