Shannex is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist for its new facility, DePaul Hall in Bedford, Nova Scotia. Engage in compassionate care and meaningful evaluation for residents.

As a key member of our Allied Health Services team, your role will focus on administering assessments and aiding in the rehabilitation of residents. You’ll develop treatment plans aligned with interdisciplinary staff strategies, ensuring a holistic approach to care. Your impact will be seen daily as you guide residents towards enhanced independence.

Key Responsibilities:
• Evaluate resident needs and plan appropriate therapeutic interventions
• Monitor treatment effectiveness and report on progress
• Create detailed progress reports and maintenance logs




• Provide training sessions on ergonomics and adaptive equipment
• Collaborate with nursing staff on treatment modifications

Requirements:
• Master’s or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy
• Registered with the provincial Association of Occupational Therapists
• One-year clinical experience required
• Current CPR/First Aid certification
• Solid computer skills in Microsoft Office
