In this full time role, reporting to the Shelter Manager, you'll provide guidance to shelter teams at various locations. Your strong leadership skills and commitment to serving the community will help foster a supportive atmosphere for guests facing adversity. Collaboration with volunteers and partners is essential to realize our mission.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the emergency shelter team, ensuring daily tasks are met
• Develop and maintain community partnerships for better outreach
• Deliver effective solutions to staff concerns and guest issues
• Enforce safety protocols and training with team members
• Facilitate regular feedback and development discussions
Requirements:
• Relevant Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• At least 2 years of leadership in mental health or homelessness
• Experience in strategic planning and program evaluation
• Excellent advocacy and time management skills
• Access to a reliable vehicle and valid class 5 license
