Our client is looking for Journeyman CNC Machinists with a focused background in steel fabrication. This hands-on role involves setting up CNC machines, interpreting drawings, and maintaining productivity in a collaborative workplace. You’ll be a key player in delivering custom, low-volume components for critical projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate CNC lathe and/or mill for metal cutting
• Read and interpret technical drawings efficiently
• Setup machines and perform routine maintenance
• Adjust and optimize machine operations independently
• Collaborate with the shop team to meet timelines
Requirements:
• Required CNC Journeyman Machinist certification
• Strong CNC lathe and/or mill operating experience
• Familiarity with Okuma and Haas equipment preferred
• Proven record in steel machining
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
