Adecco is currently hiring a Driver Helper for a full-time temporary opportunity in New Glasgow, NS.

This role is ideal for a reliable and physically capable individual with previous general labour experience who enjoys hands-on work in a fast-paced environment.

In this position, you will support daily delivery operations by assisting the driver with loading, unloading, handling, and transporting products while ensuring deliveries are completed safely and efficiently.

Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour Location: New Glasgow, NS Schedule: 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM Employment Type: Full-Time | Temporary Responsibilities Assist the driver with daily delivery and transportation activities.

Load and unload products, materials, and customer orders from delivery vehicles.

Safely handle and move products during loading, transportation, and delivery.

Assist with organizing products within the vehicle to support safe and efficient deliveries.

Ensure products are handled carefully to prevent damage during transportation.

Help verify that the correct products and quantities are prepared for each delivery.

Assist the driver at customer delivery locations as required.

Follow established delivery schedules and instructions.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Follow all company health and safety procedures while handling and transporting products.

Communicate effectively with the driver and other team members throughout the shift.





Perform general labour and material handling duties as required.

Assist with additional warehouse or delivery-related tasks based on operational needs.

Requirements Must be eligible to work and reside in Canada.

Minimum 1 to 3 years of general labour experience.

Reliable transportation is required due to the shift schedule.

Ability to perform physically demanding work throughout the shift.

Comfortable with frequent lifting, carrying, loading, and unloading.

Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.

Reliable, punctual, and able to work the full scheduled shift.

Ability to follow instructions and established procedures.

Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Previous delivery, warehouse, or material handling experience is considered an asset.
