From March 23rd to March 27th, 2026, at Shawnessy YMCA, you’ll lead fun, educational activities for children aged 6-12. Applicants should be 16 years or older and possess a passion for education and engagement in areas like visual arts or sports. Your role will involve both planning and active participation in day camp events and parent interaction.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate daily camp activities and schedules
• Maintain a safe, engaging setting for children
• Collaborate with fellow staff to implement programs
• Conduct pool activities and oversee field trips
• Welcome parents and provide daily feedback
Requirements:
• Must be 16 years old or older
• Enthusiasm for working with children
• Strong communication abilities
• Current CPR-C and Standard First Aid certification
• Clear Vulnerable Sector Police Check
