The opportunity at NETES requires a knowledgeable individual with a Journeyman Certification in Welding and a passion for adult education. This position focuses on providing quality instruction in welding, fabrication, and trade math in a supportive workplace. You will contribute to students’ learning goals while fostering relationships with industry partners to aid successful employment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct engaging TIG welding and fabrication training sessions • Create instructional materials and lesson plans that align with training outcomes • Oversee and evaluate student performance in practical activities • Mentor students to develop workplace safety and professionalism • Ensure safety compliance in shop operations
Requirements: • At least five years of relevant industry experience • Certification in adult education or willingness to qualify • Valid driver’s license and CWB Welding Supervision certification • Experience working with Indigenous communities an asset • Criminal Record Check mandatory
