Retail Stock Clerk NOC 65102

Key responsibilities include:

- Bag, box or parcel purchases for customers, for shipment or delivery
- Obtain articles for customers from shelf or stockroom
- Direct customers to location of articles sought
- Unpack products received by store and count, weigh or sort items
- Maintain computerized stock inventory
- Order stock
- Record incoming stock
- Stock shelves and display areas
- Keep stock clean and in order
- Price items using stamp or stickers according to price list
- Attach protective devices to products to protect against shoplifting
- Fill mail or electronic orders from warehouse stock
- Perform general cleaning duties (i.e. sweeping, mopping floors)
- Operate computer for electronic commerce transactions
- Operate cash register




- Operate electric palette jack
- Order picking
- Provide customer service

Support for Youths

- Offers on‑job training tailored to youth
- Offers mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities for youth
- Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work setting for youth

Qualifications

Education: No degree, certificate or diploma.

Experience: Employer will train.

Compensation & Hours

Salary: $15.35 per hour.

Hours: 40 hours per week.
