Our Client is looking for an experienced Test Analyst to support the Government of Alberta''s Consumer Licensing Enquiry Online (CLEO) initiative.
This role combines hands-on software testing, UAT, defect management, business readiness, training, and deployment support, with opportunities to leverage approved AI/Generative AI tools to improve testing, documentation, and knowledge transfer.
Key Responsibilities Develop and execute test cases, test scripts, and test scenarios based on business requirements, Service
Now stories, and acceptance criteria Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT), functional, regression, enhancement, end-to-end, and retesting activities Identify, document, track, prioritize, and validate defects through resolution Support integration testing, data validation, data migration testing, and business process validation Participate in Agile/sprint-based testing, defect triage, release testing, smoke testing, and post-deployment validation Maintain testing documentation, traceability, execution records, and status reporting Work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, SMEs, technical teams, and business stakeholders Develop and maintain user guides, job aids, FAQs, training presentations, knowledge articles, and training scenarios Support end-user training, knowledge transfer,
business readiness, deployment readiness, go-live, and post-implementation stabilization Use approved AI and Generative AI tools where appropriate to improve test coverage, documentation, training content, and QA processes while ensuring human validation and compliance Must-Have Qualifications Bachelor''s degree or equivalent relevant experience 5+ years of experience with: Software testing methodologies and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Coordinating testing activities with business and technical stakeholders Developing end-user training materials Identifying, documenting, tracking, and validating defects Data validation, integration testing, and end-to-end testing Working within Agile or iterative delivery environments Nice to Have Experience with Service
Now applications, workflows, stories, and acceptance criteria Experience supporting business readiness and deployment readiness Experience designing and delivering role-based training programs Experience with licensing, regulatory, permitting, or citizen-facing systems Experience enabling teams on digital, data, or AI-supported tools Certifications such as ISTQB/QAI, CSM, Agile, Protected 6, or Prosci Change Management
