Support and inspire youth as a Youth Care Worker in Saskatoon. With your compassionate approach and dedication, you can help foster an inclusive environment for young people to thrive.
Our community organization is looking to fill three casual, permanent positions. Candidates should have one to two years of experience in youth support. You will be responsible for providing care, hygiene support, and engaging activities aimed at personal growth and cultural understanding within a residential framework.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide therapeutic support and personal hygiene care
• Develop and implement activities for youth development
• Foster an inclusive atmosphere in the residential setting
• Work with professionals to create care plans
• Guide youth through challenges as a mentor
Requirements:
• At least some post-secondary education completed
• Previous experience with young people in a care role
• Knowledge of Indigenous cultures and related issues
• Robust communication and relationship-building skills
• Valid First Aid/CPR Certification and recent criminal check
