Join Trinity College as a Lecturer in Humanistic Buddhist Thought and Practice, based in downtown Toronto. This full time, three-year position emphasizes teaching and research in Buddhism.
The successful applicant will contribute to expanding academic programs related to Humanistic Buddhism. You will teach a variety of courses, support graduate research, and collaborate with other faculties. The role demands a PhD and a demonstrated ability to teach and publish effectively in academic settings. Your scholarly activities should include maintaining an active research agenda in Humanistic Buddhism and its related fields.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver 4-6 courses annually in Buddhism and related subjects • Mentor graduate students and supervise research • Participate in course and program development • Assist in organizing public lectures and conferences • Publish scholarly work in high-impact journals
Requirements: • PhD in Buddhist Studies, Religious Studies, or similar • Proven track record in teaching excellence • Experience with graduate supervision • Evidence of research publication • Focused expertise in Buddhism
