It is intended to build a pool of qualified candidates for potential future opportunities. ** WHAT''S THE JOB? The Sandwich Maker is an integral member of the culinary team.

Working night shifts, the Sandwich Maker prepares a wide variety of sandwich and specialty items to fulfill the bagged lunch program.

The Sandwich Maker will work with culinary leads to present attractive and well-prepared products each day.

The position involves a remote work lifestyle in a Nunavut camp setting with the following amenities: All meals and accommodations are provided Travel is provided to and from the site locations from a designated hub location in Edmonton, AB Private room with cable television Access to Wi-Fi Access to laundry facilities and detergents Access to a gym and common areas Key Responsibilities: Maintaining a protected working environment at all times Providing excellent and consistent service for all guests using the KDR facilities Maintaining a clean and organized workstation throughout the shift Preparing all hot and cold items required for the daily bagged lunch program.

Items include, but are not limited to: Deli and specialty sandwiches as per daily production requirements All preparations required for each days production (compounds such as egg salad or cooked items used for specialty sandwiches) Other required menu items as directed Ensuring that food safety requirements are being followed Completing all HACCP and Production logs as required Labelling and dating of all products prepared for service as required Removing all used pots, pans, utensils, etc., to ware washing area Performing end-of-shift cleaning, sweeping,



and mopping of workstation Completing all weekly and monthly cleaning tasks as scheduled Removing garbage from workstation as required Receiving and storing all supplies (food, beverage, chemical and paper/disposable) Assisting with any other tasks as assigned by supervisor Qualifications WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR? Current Food Safe certification is required Large-scale cooking in camp settings, banquet halls and/or hotels is a strongasset Previous experience in a sandwich maker role at a mass-production level is preferred Ability to commit to a 3week on/ 3week off rotation A team-player who is committed to providing client satisfaction Ability to pass the Drug and Alcohol and Health Assessmentis required Must be able to clear a Criminal Background Check Be able to handle the following physical demands: Lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs Climb ladders or stairs Stand, walk, squat, kneel or sit according to task for extended lengths of time Perform repetitive hand work requiring full use of both hands Perform work with arms at full length Work with arms above shoulder height Additional Information WHATS IN IT FOR YOU?
