Global Financial Firm located in MISSISSAUGA, ON has an immediate contract opportunity for an experienced Business Analyst Pay Rate: $70.00 - $75.00 Negotiable based upon years of experience Work Mode: Hybrid Location: Mississauga, ON Responsibilities: Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document detailed business requirements aligned with Model Risk Management (MRM) policies and governance standards.

Work closely with the Product Owner to break down high-level Epics into actionable user stories with comprehensive acceptance criteria.

Document current and future state workflows for model development, independent validation, approval, and ongoing monitoring.

Partner with the QA team to develop detailed test cases and scenarios specific to MRM workflows.

Serve as a communication bridge between model validators, model owners, senior MRM leadership, and technology teams.

Requirements:



Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within Model Risk Management or model validation.

Strong understanding of model risk management principles and regulatory expectations (e.g., SR 11-7, SS1/23).

Experience with large-scale data migration projects, including data analysis, mapping, and validation.

Expertise in Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) with the ability to write transparent and effective Epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

Preferred Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Experience in reviewing test cases and supporting the quality assurance process.
