The Recovery Home Support Worker collaborates closely with the Recovery Home Supervisor to deliver culturally informed support to clients facing mental health and addiction challenges. With a focus on enhancing daily living activities and community engagement, you will play a pivotal role in promoting client well-being and independence. Regular documentation and ethical conduct are crucial elements of this position, ensuring client needs are met with care and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with crisis support and client intake processes
• Provide coaching and life skills education
• Maintain accurate client records in Mustimuhw database
• Support clients in social, recreational, and vocational activities
• Oversee all household duties and medication safekeeping
Requirements:
• Formal education in social services or related fields
• Minimum 2 years relevant experience in Indigenous communities
• First Aid Certification and Food Protected Level 1
• Valid class 5 driver's license with reliable transportation
• Skills in crisis intervention and relationship building
