The firm is currently seeking an experienced Corporate-Commercial Law Clerk to support a growing practice focused heavily on commercial real estate and financing transactions.

About the Role This role will primarily support a busy commercial real estate and corporate-commercial practice with an emphasis on: Commercial real estate transactions Raw land acquisitions and development matters Joint venture transactions Commercial lending and financing matters Borrower-side loan transactions Related corporate-commercial work The successful candidate will be someone who thrives in a transactional environment and is comfortable handling sophisticated files with a high degree of independence and attention to detail.

Support commercial real estate transactions from inception through closing Prepare and review commercial lending and financing documentation Assist with borrower-side loan transactions and financing matters Coordinate and manage transaction closings, including document execution and registrations Prepare and review agreements relating to acquisitions, dispositions,



joint ventures, and financing arrangements Conduct due diligence reviews and organize closing documentation Liaise with clients, lenders, financial institutions, opposing counsel, and internal stakeholders Maintain organized file management and transaction tracking systems Assist with related corporate-commercial matters as required The Offer Competitive compensation package in the range of $100,000 $115,000 Full-time, in-office position based in Toronto Collaborative and team-oriented environment with exposure to sophisticated transactions and clients What You Bring Law Clerk diploma or equivalent legal education 7+ years of experience in commercial real estate and/or corporate-commercial law Strong experience handling commercial lending and loan transactions Experience supporting borrower-side financing matters is considered a strong asset Exposure to raw land and joint venture transactions is preferred Strong organizational and file management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting Strong technical, drafting, and attention-to-detail skills Next Steps If you are interested in learning more about this opportunity, please apply, in confidence.
