Job Description
Terminal Representative – Winnipeg International Airport
Allied Universal Canadaisseekingprofessional, dependable, and customer-focused Terminal Representativesto join our team at Winnipeg James Armstrong Richardson International Airport.
This position is ideal for individuals withstrong communicationskills, attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, 24/7 airport environment. The Terminal Representative will supportaccess control, airport security operations, passengerassistance, traffic control, and overall safety and securitywithin designated airport areas.

- Number of Vacancies: 5
- Employment Type: Full-Time
- Pay Rate:$16.96 per hour
- Schedule: 4 days on / 4 days off;6:30 AM – 6:30 PM&6:30 PM – 6:30 AM
- Security License: Not required
Security Clearance Requirements
Candidates must haveresidedcontinuously in Canada for a minimum of five (5) yearsto meet applicable airport security clearance requirements.
Successful candidates must also be able to obtain andmaintaina valid Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC).
Key Responsibilities
As a Terminal Representative, you will playan important roleinmaintaininga safe, secure, and efficient airport environment. Responsibilities include:
- Conduct regularsecurity patrolsof assigned terminal areas, restricted areas, and other designated locations.
- Monitor and manageaccess controlwithin designated airport areas.
- Verify credentials, identification, and access permissionsin accordance withestablished procedures.
- Monitor security systems andmaintaina high levelof situational awareness.
- Control access to restricted and controlled areas.
- Supportsemergency communication procedures.
- Follow airport security policies, procedures, and applicable Government of Canada protocols.
- Provide professional, courteous, and effectiveassistanceto passengers, airport employees, and other stakeholders.
- Identify, address, andreport onsecurity, safety, and access-control concerns.
- Providerelief coverage for traffic control and curbside operationsasrequired.
- Assistwith the secure and orderly movement of vehicles and passengers in designated curbside areas.
- Maintain a visible and professional security presence throughout assigned terminal areas.
- Completeaccuratepatrol logs, reports, incident reports, and other required documentation.
- Remain calm, qualified,
and decisive during emergencies and high-pressure situations.
- Participate in cross-training and provide operational support in other Level 1 positions asrequired.
- Perform other duties as assigned in support of airport operations.
Qualifications and Skills
Successful candidates should have:
- The ability to obtain andmaintaina valid RAIC.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Excellentcustomer serviceand interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and situational awareness.
- The ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations
- The ability to work both indoors and outdoors.
- Flexibility to work rotating day and night shifts, weekends, and statutory holidays.
