Utilize your expertise as a Policy Analyst in supporting Métis Nation-Saskatchewan's legislative committees. The full time role focuses on research, logistics, and policy documentation.
As part of the Policy and Self Determination department, you will assist in the effective operation of MNLA and PMC committees, ensuring that meetings are well-organized and documented. Your role will involve extensive collaboration with elected officials and stakeholders to facilitate decision-making and uphold Métis traditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide policy and procedural advisory support
- Research and analyze legislative resolutions
- Prepare agendas and coordinate meeting logistics
- Document meeting proceedings and follow up actions
- Maintain accurate committee records and files
Requirements:
- Post-secondary education in public administration or governance
- 2-3 years in legislative services or policy roles
- Experience with meeting coordination and documentation
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities
