**Job Description:**
**KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES**
**CUSTOMER**
Provide professional support in the design, development and execution of various internal/external events: meetings, roadshows, conferences, stakeholder events and programs for assigned business area(s) or function
Plan and support the delivery of events organized and ensure alignment with business strategy and TD brand, may negotiate contracts and review clauses as appropriate
Monitor and understand industry trends, identify issues and opportunities and provide recommended action to appropriate stakeholders, gather and integrate information and research to support the development of future events
Ensure the TD brand is incorporated and protected during the events organized
Participate in evaluating the effectiveness of the planned event after execution; compile and analyse feedback from various internal and / other attendees and partners
Provide functional / business level communications on event planning activities to ensure messages to stakeholders and /or internal / external partners are consistent,
appropriate and aligned to business strategies and management direction
**SHAREHOLDER**
Ensure events and programs are well managed, meet business needs, complies with internal and external requirements, and aligns with business priorities
Supports budget development and manages all aspects of expenditures for related events
Consistently exercise discretion in managing correspondence, information and all matters of confidentiality; escalate issues where appropriate
Be knowledgeable of practices and procedures within own area of responsibility and keep abreast of emerging trends for own business and/or functional area
Protect the interests of the organization – identify and manage risks, and escalate non-standard, high risk activities as necessary
Conduct internal and external projects; support the development / delivery of presentations / communications to management or broader audience
Conduct reporting and / or meaningful analysis at the business or functional level using results to draw conclusions, make recommendations, assess the effectiveness of programs/ policies/ practices
Identify, recommend and effectively execute standard practices applicable to the discipline
Adhere to internal policies/procedures and applicable regulatory guidelines
Keep abreast of emerging issues, trends, and evolving regulatory requirements and assess potential impacts
Maintain a culture of risk management and control, supported by effective processes in alignment with risk appetite

Support the team by continuously enhancing knowledge / expertise in own area and participate in knowledge transfer within the team and business unit

Keep others informed and up-to-date about the status / progress of projects and / or all relevant or useful information related to day-to-day activities
Contribute to the success of the team by willingly assisting others in the completion and performance of work activities; provide training, coaching and/or guidance as appropriate.

Act as a brand ambassador for your business area/function and the bank, both internally and/or externally
**BREADTH & DEPTH**
Event planning professional role with a focus on providing functional specialized business services, advisory or process / program support for
own area of specialty, within defined parameters
Requires sound conceptual knowledge in their own field of specialty
Conducts event planning research and provides insights to drive recommendations/ solutions for event planning development for assigned area
May lead small projects and / or support work streams of a bigger project
Leads problem resolution for issues, investigates and analyses potential solutions, and/or escalates to appropriate level where further clarity or interpretation is required for higher complex policies or rules is required
Executes on assignments with some complexity
Accountable for own assignments and effective coordination of processes and information across the team
Delivers on assigned initiatives / projects /programs
with some direction from management
Generally reports to Manager / Senior Manager role
**EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION**
Undergraduate degree
2+ years relevant experience
