**We are hiring General Production Worker's in Markham, Ontario!**
**Job Description**
The General Production Worker performs mechanical assembly, material handling, and basic production tasks in a clean, fast-paced manufacturing environment.

This role uses power and hand tools to assemble products, handles parts and materials, follows established quality and safety procedures, and supports continuous improvement through training and workstation rotation.
**Responsibilities**
Perform mechanical assembly using power tools and basic hand tools, including torque drivers, in accordance with work instructions and quality standards.

Lift and move products and materials weighing up to 50 lbs on a daily basis, ensuring safe handling practices.

Accurately pick, count, bag, and label parts based on pick lists and ad hoc requests, maintaining precise inventory and documentation.

Ensure full compliance with all applicable quality assurance standards and internal Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Participate in training and certification programs to maintain required knowledge, skills, and compliance with production and safety standards.

Rotate between different workstations as needed to support production demands and maintain flexibility within the team.

Maintain safety standards and uphold 5S workplace organization practices, including cleanliness, orderliness, and proper tool/material storage.

Follow all safety guidelines, including the use of designated personal protective equipment (PPE) and electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection where required.

Collaborate with coworkers and supervisors to meet production targets and support a positive, team-oriented work environment.

Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned to support production operations.
**Essential Skills**
At least 1 year of mechanical assembly experience in a production or manufacturing workplace.

Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs consistently throughout the workday.

Experience working with power tools and hand tools, including torque drivers and similar equipment.

Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office applications such as Excel and Word.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy when counting, labeling, and handling parts.

Commitment to following quality assurance standards and internal SOPs.

Willingness to participate in training and certification programs and adapt to rotating workstations.

Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic in a production setting.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
First aid certification is a nice-to-have and may be requested during the hiring process.

Comfort working around machinery, tools, and production equipment.

Ability to work cooperatively with team members and contribute to a positive work culture.





Openness to learning new tasks and taking on additional responsibilities as needed.

**Work Environment**

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
