Skyline Recruitment is working with an established Canadian construction contractor to recruit an experienced Commercial / Contracts Manager for a senior position based in Calgary.This role will support the commercial performance of major construction projects, working closely with senior leadership and project teams across contract management, cost and revenue reporting, change management, risk and subcontract administration.Key Responsibilities:Provide commercial and contractual guidance to project leadership teamsManage contract administration, including notices, correspondence, change and claimsOversee subcontract management from procurement through to close-outDevelop and maintain strong commercial relationships with clients and key stakeholdersManage project risk and chance registers and support mitigation strategiesPrepare monthly cost, revenue, cash flow and commercial performance reportsMonitor project forecasts, earned value and projected costs to completionEnsure contractual requirements and notification periods are maintainedSupport change order preparation,



negotiation and commercial resolutionDrive commercial awareness and best practices across project teamsMentor and support commercial and contract professionalsExperience & Qualifications:7+ years of commercial, contracts or project management experience within constructionStrong background in heavy civil, infrastructure, industrial or energy projectsDemonstrated experience with contract administration, subcontract management and change managementStrong commercial and financial understandingExcellent negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skillsDegree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Law or a related discipline preferredCIQS, RICS, PMP or similar professional designation considered an assetThis is an excellent opportunity for an experienced commercial professional looking to take on a senior role supporting complex construction projects across Western Canada.
