Join 360°kids as a Part time Youth Support Worker and empower vulnerable youth in York Region. This role is vital in guiding youth toward safety and independence through mentoring and support.
At 360°kids, you'll engage with youth on weekends, focusing on individual needs and crisis support. Your primary goal will be to facilitate life skills development and provide counseling. You will help youth define their goals and promote stability through accessible community resources, making a lasting impact in their lives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess youth needs through in-person meetings
• Provide mentoring and support during immediate crises
• Facilitate life skills sessions tailored to individual growth
• Advocate for youth in need of housing and services
• Complete necessary documentation related to youth cases
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in human services or equivalent
• Proven experience with youth affected by trauma
• Current first aid/CPR certification
• Reliable vehicle and G driver's license required
• Excellent conflict resolution and interpersonal skills
