Downtown Eastside Women’s Centre (DEWC) seeks a Kitchen Trainer to prepare nutritious meals in a busy drop-in centre and night shelter in Vancouver. You will plan, serve, and maintain meals while supporting volunteers and working with staff from a feminist, anti-oppression framework. Prerequisites include at least 2 years in a shelter or drop-in setting, knowledge of trauma-informed care, and First Aid/Food Secure/NVCI certifications. DEWC offers comprehensive benefits and generous leave.
