Our client is looking for a dedicated Human Resources (HR) Recruiter to join their team in Mini Thni (Chiniki Village), Alberta. This role supports end-to-end recruitment activities, from intake through onboarding, while building strong partnerships with hiring leaders and community networks. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented recruitment specialist who can attract robust talent, deliver a positive candidate experience, and support efficient, compliant hiring practices.

Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end recruitment, from approved vacancies and candidate screening through offers, pre-employment checks, and onboarding.
Develop and post job advertisements and source candidates through online platforms, community outreach, referrals, and networking.
Screen applications, shortlist candidates, coordinate interviews and assessments, and support hiring decisions.
Complete reference and background checks and prepare offers and recruitment documentation.
Build talent pools for recurring and hard-to-fill positions, with a focus on Indigenous candidates and local community outreach.
Represent the organization at career fairs, community events, and other recruitment initiatives.
Partner with managers on staffing needs, position descriptions, and recruitment reporting, including vacancies, applicant activity, and time-to-fill.
Maintain accurate HR and applicant tracking records, support employee benefit inquiries, and ensure recruitment practices comply with legislation, policies, and procedures.

High school diploma/equivalent + 3+ years’ recruitment or HR experience.
Proven ability to manage multiple hires and meet deadlines.
Experience with HRIS, ATS, CRM,



ADP Workforce Now, or UKG Pro.
Strong full-cycle recruitment and candidate management experience.
Excellent verbal, written, and relationship-building skills.
Strong organization, time management, and prioritization skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
