Action’s Garage is a newly opened, family-owned heavy-duty truck and trailer repair shop that also provides comprehensive light-duty automotive mechanical services. The Role This is a unique, ground-floor opportunity for a reliable, customer-focused Service Advisor to help shape our operations. In this role, you will serve as the primary link between our customers and technicians. Beyond daily service writing, you will leverage your knowledge of workflow design to help us build, optimize, and maintain highly efficient garage processes. Key Responsibilities • Customer Experience: Greet clients, document vehicle symptoms accurately, and maintain a presentable customer lounge. • Workflow & Scheduling: Coordinate schedules between heavy-duty and light-duty bays to maximize efficiency. • Communication: Create detailed work orders, build estimates, and provide transparent repair updates to clients. • Parts & Invoicing: Source parts from local suppliers, process final payments, and manage invoicing. • Administration: Handle daily data entry, digital record keeping,



and maintain a clean welcoming environment for our customers. Qualifications • Experience: Prior service advisor or automotive service writing experience is preferred. • Industry Knowledge: A solid foundational understanding of heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and light-duty automotive systems. • Software Skills: Strong computer literacy; hands-on experience with Fullbay software is a major asset (but not required). • Core Skills: Exceptional multitasking, clear communication, and a knack for organizing shop workflows. • Logistics: Must have reliable transportation to our shop in Nisku.
