Endevont Inc. is looking for an experienced, dependable carpenter to join our growing construction and renovation team in Ottawa. The successful candidate must be skilled in finish carpentry, including: -Installing baseboards, door casing and window casing -Routing doors and jambs for hinges -Accurately measuring and laying out hinge locations -Hanging and adjusting interior doors -Producing clean mitres, joints and returns -Scribing and fitting trim to uneven walls and floors -Measuring, cutting and installing materials efficiently -Completing work to a professional finished standard -Working independently and solving site-related problems -Maintaining a clean, organized and safe work area Requirements:



-Professional carpentry or renovation experience -Strong attention to detail -Own basic hand and power tools -Reliable transportation to job sites -Dependable attendance and valuable communication -Ability to work independently and as part of a team -Respectful and professional conduct in clients’ homes -Experience installing door jambs, handles, locks, cabinetry, flooring, drywall or framing would be considered an asset.
