As a pivotal member of our engineering team, you will spearhead the design and execution of transmission line projects across North America. This role will allow you to leverage your extensive knowledge of electrical systems, project management, and industry standards while providing mentorship to emerging engineers within the firm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret codes and develop optimized design criteria
- Create and oversee PLS-CADD models for project designs
- Define project scopes and prepare specifications
- Mentor junior engineering staff on technical tasks
- Track and report on project costs and schedules
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering
- P. Eng. designation required
- 8+ years of related engineering experience
- Proficient in using PLS software for line design
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
