Join Winnipeg Child and Family Services as a Case Manager focusing on child protection and family support. This full time role offers a chance to make a difference in vulnerable communities. The Department of Families is actively seeking Child and Family Service Workers to provide comprehensive case management within Winnipeg.
Your primary duties will include developing effective plans for child safety, conducting abuse investigations, and collaborating with various service providers. You will also play a crucial role in managing child-in-care cases. Key Responsibilities:
Perform intake and abuse investigations
Create safety-focused case plans for families
Work with community resources to provide support services
Oversee voluntary family services and case management
Offer after-hour services for urgent family assistance Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in social work or social sciences
Experience in case management and child protection
Robust communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in MS Office, especially Word and Outlook
Valid Manitoba Class 5F Driver’s license Bring your skills in social work to contribute meaningfully to the well-being of families in Winnipeg.
