Elevate your career with AIG Canada as an Energy Underwriting Specialist. This role focuses on managing and underwriting the Onshore Energy portfolio while collaborating with brokers across Canada. As an experienced Underwriting Specialist in AIG's Energy unit, you will service an existing renewal book and produce new accounts nationally.

Your responsibilities include coverage analysis, pricing using analytics, and delivering impactful presentations. You’ll also mentor newer team members, ensuring compliance with internal strategies while contributing to budget goals. Key Responsibilities:
Manage and service the Onshore Energy renewal portfolio
Produce and underwrite recent accounts through brokers
Conduct coverage analysis tailored to client needs




Perform pricing analysis using data and modeling tools
Mentor junior team members in technical underwriting Requirements:
Solid understanding of the Energy industry and insurance products
Proficiency with pricing tools and risk selection
Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills
Post-secondary education or equivalent experience
