Millwork CAD Drafter / Detailer

Key Attributes

2+ years of experience in Millwork, Cabinetry, or CAD Drafting

Solid proficiency in AutoCAD

Experience creating detailed Millwork Shop Drawings and Production Drawings

Ability to prepare accurate plans, elevations, sections, details, and construction drawings

Ability to create millwork breakdowns, dimensions, and production details

Strong understanding of cabinet construction, materials, hardware, and millwork detailing

Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and site measurements

Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy

Ability to work closely with designers, production teams, installers, builders, suppliers, and clients

Strong communication and customer service skills

Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

Highly organized, reliable, and committed to quality work

Robust teamwork and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently and take initiative when required

Previous experience with kitchen cabinetry and custom millwork is an asset

Experience with SketchUp is an asset





Responsibilities

Prepare detailed AutoCAD drawings for custom millwork and cabinetry.

Convert designs and measurements into accurate production-ready shop drawings.

Prepare complete millwork breakdowns for manufacturing.

Coordinate drawings with site conditions, measurements, materials, and hardware.

Make revisions based on client, designer, or production requirements.

Communicate with clients when clarification is required.

Coordinate with the production and installation teams to ensure drawings are transparent and accurate.

Ensure all drawings meet project standards, specifications, and deadlines.
