Role Details

Description The Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure is a 5k or 1k walk or run.

This year’s event will be taking place on Sunday, October 4th, 2026.

Join our Welcome and Guest Experience team and help create a warm, organized and positive experience from the moment participants arrive!

Tasks for this role may include:
Welcome participants and guests as they arrive on Run Day
Support participant check-in and registration
Help distribute Run for the Cure T-shirts by colour and size
Answer general questions about Run Day
Help manage registration lines and keep participant areas organized
Direct participants to registration, T-shirt pick-up and other key event areas
Receive donations when required
Help make sure every participant feels welcomed and supported
Specific assignments may include Registration, T-Shirt Distribution or Information & Welcome support
Should be comfortable lifting at least 10 lbs if assigned to T-Shirt Distribution
Must be 19+
Bring a friendly, positive and welcoming attitude and be ready to help create a excellent Run Day experience!
