Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and responsible Class 1 or Class 3 Driver to join our team! This role offers an exciting opportunity to operate commercial vehicles, transport Lumber efficiently, load securement, unload with 3 wheel forklift at commercial sites, Driving Tandem axle flat deck truck with back mounted Forklift. All sites require proper safety paperwork including daily JSA along with pre-trip inspections.

Must have forklift certificate, First Aid with CPR is required. Pre-hire drug test will be required.

Looking for either a Contract driver or full time employee if Contract driver hourly rate will be higher. Also willing to pay for hotels and food allowance Job is Monday to Friday 10 hour days.

Duties
Safely operate Class 1 or Class 3 commercial trucks to transport Lumber on a Tandem axle Flat Bed.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations
Load and unload freight using forklift as needed
Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logs, and freight records
Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols,



and company policies during transportation activities
Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and clients to coordinate deliveries and pickups

Skills
Valid Class 1 or Class 3 driver’s license with a clean driving record
Experience operating forklifts and heavy equipment in a logistics workplace
Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety standards
Ability to perform basic automotive repairs and troubleshooting on commercial vehicles
Solid understanding of traffic regulations and safety protocols for commercial drivers
Excellent communication skills for transparent coordination with team members and clients
Physical stamina for long hours of driving, loading, unloading, and equipment operation
