Job Title: Optometric assistant

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Optometric Assistant to join our excellent team! The right candidate would have experience in pre-testing, administrative duties and optical sales. We would be hiring an individual that understands the importance of customer service and excels in providing the best patient care possible.

Responsibilities:
Administrative duties such as booking appointments, taking payments, billing insurance, answering the phone etc.
Assist patients with preliminary testing on diagnostic equipment
Conduct fittings to ensure proper alignment and comfort of eyeglasses
Educate customers on lens options, coatings, and frame materials
Process orders for lenses and frames accurately
Maintain inventory of eyewear and accessories




Collaborate with the optical team to deliver excellent customer service
Answer phone calls and book appointments

Qualifications:
Previous experience in optical sales or optometric assistance
Knowledge of medical terminology related to optometry
Experience with IFILE is a plus
