Job Summary:
We are currently seeking preferably a Licensed Heavy Duty Mechanic (Red Seal or Journeyperson) to join our maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of heavy-duty equipment and vehicles in a safe and efficient manner. Wage is dependent on experience.

Responsibilities:
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues on heavy-duty trucks and equipment
Perform routine maintenance and inspections (brakes, hydraulics, engine, suspension, etc.)
Repair and replace defective parts using hand and power tools
Maintain accurate service records and complete work orders
Follow all safety protocols and company procedures
Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members

Qualifications:
Journeyperson or Red Seal Certification in Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanics(preferred)




Minimum 3 years of experience (post-certification preferred)
Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
Valid driver’s license (Class 1 or 3 is an asset)
Welding/fabrication skills considered an asset
Ability to work independently and in a team setting
Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment
