Job Summary

Grit Security is hiring Mobile Security Officers to patrol multiple client sites across the Lower Mainland and help ensure properties remain secure and secure. Join our team and play a vital role in safeguarding our assets, personnel, and property across multiple locations. This position involves proactive patrols, surveillance monitoring, and quick response to security incidents.

Duties
Patrol multiple assigned sites during each shift
Conduct interior and exterior security checks
Scan checkpoints and complete scheduled patrols
Respond to alarms and security incidents
Check doors, gates, entrances, parking areas, and other vulnerable areas
Identify suspicious activity, safety hazards, or security concerns
Complete accurate patrol and incident reports
Maintain communication with dispatch and supervisors
Contact police, fire, ambulance, or other authorities when required
Follow site-specific procedures and post orders




Ensure assigned sites are safe and secure

Requirements
Valid BC Security Worker License / BST required
Valid Class 5 Driver’s License required
Clean driving record preferred
Strong communication and report-writing skills
Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
Reliable, punctual, and skilled
Ability to remain calm during emergencies

Pay: $19.50-$21.50 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
