Duties
Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to enhance their comfort and dignity
Support medication administration following prescribed schedules and safety protocols to ensure proper health management
Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences, fostering health and enjoyment
Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of loneliness and promote mental well-being
Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a protected setting for clients
Help with mobility exercises or transfers using proper techniques to prevent falls and injuries




Document care provided, observe changes in health status, and communicate updates to healthcare teams or family members

Experience
Previous experience working in assisted living facilities or nursing homes is highly valued
Demonstrated experience caring for seniors or individuals with disabilities enhances your ability to deliver quality support
Knowledge of dementia care strategies and managing clients with cognitive impairments is preferred
Experience in medication administration ensures adherence to safety standards and protocols
Proven caregiving skills combined with a compassionate approach are essential for success in this role
Familiarity with home care practices including meal preparation, cleaning, and personal assistance is advantageous
