Job Description

We are currently looking for a Building Manager for a Vancouver site. The Manager is responsible for maintaining a residential high-rise complex.

We are looking for friendly, reliable, and skilled individuals with admin, communication and interpersonal skills, and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Looking after the property, maintaining the common area
General maintenance & repairs of the common area, excluding those of a technical certified trades nature
Performs minor repairs to the common facility and common property (Door adjustments - Lock repairs - Minor painting work - Drywall repairs - Minor carpentry work)
Inspection of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
Meeting trades & coordinating access to the building
Coordination of move in/out
Programming fobs, buzzer
Provide weekly and monthly reports
Administrative and communication skills, writing emails
Communicate with residents and management as required
General and routine inspection of common areas,



be able to recognize potential technical problems
Support building staff, including caretaker
Perform or assist with operational tasks, including leaf blowing and ice melting
Carry out all other duties not specifically listed above, but reasonably within the role of a Building Manager

QUALICIFACTIONS & REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 5 years of Building Manager experience
Customer service experience is an asset
Excellent time management
Excellent communication skills both written and oral
Ability to deal with residents and trades in a positive & respectful manner
Knowledge of Building Systems
