We are looking for a skilled Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for welding parts using MIG according to specifications and technical drawings.
Tasks
Able to work independently.
Qualification from the Canadian Welding Bureau (CWB).
Understanding of welding symbols.
Knowledge of welding defects.
Ability to demonstrate welding to others.
Basic machine adjustment.
Basic machine maintenance.
Capable of self-inspecting the quality of welds.
Able to inspect the quality of others’ welds.
Ability to weld according to the parameters defined in the drawings.
Required qualifications
Understanding of technical drawings/reading plans.
Understanding of welding symbols.
Knowledge of welding defects.
Successfully passing the theoretical and practical examination.
Must hold a diploma of vocational studies and/or have relevant experience related to the position.
Capable of using and interpreting measuring instruments.
Able to adjust welding parameters.
Capable of safely handling parts and assemblies.
Training and certification as a rigger.
Skills
Problem-solving ability (ranked by level of complexity).
Versatility level.
Understand PVA principles Continuous improvement.
