Mixer and Scaler

Full time

Afternoon Shift starting at 3:30pm

Duties and Responsibilities:
Working in a food processing environment.
Finding and obtaining ingredients from the warehouse.
Weighing and measuring different ingredients according to the recipe.
Pouring ingredients into a mixing machine as per recipe instructions.
Operating the mixing machinery.
Cleaning of used tools, utensils, and tables at the end of the shift.
Bringing knives back to production supervisor at end of shift.
Identifying allergens and following allergen colour coding system.
Labeling Work in Process ingredients.
Notifying production supervisor of all quality issues.
Recording quantity and raw ingredient lot codes on recipes.

Qualifications:
Experience in food production industry




Must be detail oriented
Follow Food Safety and HACCP systems and GMP rules
1 to 3 years experience in scaling and mixing in a manufacturing environment

Working Conditions:
Ability to stand on their feet for most of the day.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Must wear safety shoes, masks, hairnets and uniform all day.
