Now Hiring Farm/Construction/Landscape Labourer

We are looking for some summer help on our properties and within our businesses near Sexsmith, Alberta.

Main duties include:
Daily documentation and log recording
Debris and garbage pickup and removal from sites to County Landfill
Being diligent of safety policies and procedures, and adhere to all company policies.
Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and call for repairs
Help clean/maintain cleanliness of shop, equipment, and storage sheds
Painting and general yard maintenance as requested
Assist mechanics and other trades when required
Provide support with delivering and picking up tools, parts and supplies.
Landscaping – including mowing, trimming, weeding, planting and watering.

The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:
Class 5 drivers license with a reliable vehicle
Prior experience operating landscaping equipment
Experience hauling a trailer and tying down loads.
Able to perform heavy lifting and physical labour
Be comfortable working in all weather conditions
Be a strong team player with high standards, excellent interpersonal skills and a professional approach




Be a self-starter and able to work with minimal supervision
Have Basic knowledge of equipment operation and maintenance
Be comfortable pulling a trailer with a pick-up truck.
Have Basic knowledge of tool operation and maintenance
Must have willingness to learn and have strong attention to detail and quality.
Clean Criminal Record Check
Must be able to read and speak English.

Hours/Working Conditions:

The working environments are farm, construction or industrial sites, including shops. Most work will be outdoors in all types of weather conditions. Quick paced work workplace with many opportunities for growth. Hours are negotiable but it is considered a full time position. We would prefer 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday.
Possible Opportunity for Heavy Equipment Training – including tractor, skid steer and packer.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00-$22.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:
Grande Prairie, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
