Responsibilities:
Operate a variety of equipment (excavator/skidsteer/backhoe/loader).
Supervise other emloyees
Perform skilled labour, including but not limited to; surveying, grading, placing boulders and general labour tasks.
Assist with project-estimating.
Complete projects efficiently on schedule and budget, and assist with budget tracking and project estimation.
Assist with guiding, training, and managing a crew or multiple crews of labourers.
Monitor quality control and ensure tasks are completed to the highest quality in accordance with construction plans and specifications.
Ensure company’s safety procedures are being followed at all times, and assist with SECOR safety program administration and reporting.
For the right candidate, and depending on the installation season and other factors, this position could potentially be extended into a year-round role.

Experience:
5 years minimum operating equipment (excavator/skidsteer/backhoe/loader).
Supervisory experience
Thorough knowledge of protected work procedures




Operating equipment in and around confined areas

Earthworks and machinery
Clean Class 5 Driver’s License (Class 1 or 3 an asset.)
Must have steel-toed boots
