Job Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Optical Sales Assistant to join our dynamic optical retail team. Responsibilities
Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting eyewear that suits their style, needs, and prescription requirements
Provide detailed product information, including lens options, frame styles, and optical features such as anti-reflective coatings or blue light filtering
Conduct basic eye health assessments and understand medical terminology related to vision care to support customer consultations
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of optical products, industry trends, and technological advancements such as Optosys electronic health record systems used in optical practices
Support the store’s sales goals by actively promoting promotions, recent arrivals,



and retail management initiatives
Assist with inventory management, stock replenishment, and visual merchandising to create an inviting shopping workplace
Collaborate with optometrists and laboratory staff to ensure seamless service delivery for customers requiring laboratory work or specialized optical solutions

Experience
Previous retail sales experience with a focus on customer service is highly desirable
Familiarity with optical products or laboratory experience is a strong plus
Knowledge of medical terminology related to vision care enhances your ability to assist customers effectively
Experience working with Optosys or similar electronic health record systems is advantageous
Background in optical or healthcare settings demonstrates your understanding of industry standards and patient confidentiality
Retail management experience is beneficial for those interested in career growth within the sector
