Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Welder for the Day Shift to join our manufacturing team. This role involves performing accurate welding operations to fabricate, repair, and assemble metal components according to detailed blueprints and schematics. The ideal candidate will bring a strong mechanical aptitude, proficiency in various welding techniques, and experience with construction and manufacturing environments. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to high-quality projects while working in a agile and safety-conscious setting.
Responsibilities
Read and interpret technical blueprints, schematics, and welding diagrams to ensure accurate fabrication.
Perform MIG (Metal Inert Gas) and TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) welding on various metals, maintaining high standards of quality.
Use plasma cutting tools, press brake machines, hand tools, power tools, and other equipment to shape and assemble metal parts.
Measure materials precisely with calipers and perform basic math calculations to verify dimensions.
Execute machining tasks as needed to prepare parts for welding or assembly.
Fabricate ductwork, structural components, or custom metal assemblies in accordance with project specifications.
Follow safety protocols diligently while working with welding equipment, power tools, and heavy machinery.
Assist in the assembly of welded components into larger systems or structures.
Maintain a clean work setting and ensure all tools and equipment are properly maintained.
Requirements
Proven experience in welding, including MIG and TIG techniques, within manufacturing.
Mechanical knowledge related to rigging, machining, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and assembly processes.
Familiarity with plasma cutting, press brake machines, hand tools, power tools, and welding safety procedures.
Ability to operate cranes and forklifts safely when handling heavy materials.
Basic math skills for measurements and calculations necessary during fabrication.
Knowledge of ductwork fabrication or construction experience is a plus.
Strong understanding of schematics and technical drawings for accurate execution of tasks.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety standards.
Shift- 6:00 am to 2:30 PM
HP
Pay: $23.50 per hour
