Vancouver Eagles is looking for passionate and reliable basketball coaches to join our growing program.

We are not just looking for someone who wants a job.

We are looking for someone who genuinely loves basketball and is passionate about developing young players.

What You’ll Do
Coach youth basketball classes (ages 6–15) with energy, patience, and positivity
Teach fundamentals, skills, and game concepts
Create a positive, energetic, and disciplined setting
Be a role model for players on and off the court
Build relationships with players and parents, make every kid feel seen and supported
Set up equipment and keep sessions organized and on time

Must Have
Positive, upbeat energy, you bring enthusiasm and leadership into the gym
Strong basketball fundamentals and the ability to teach skills clearly
Great communication skills with children and parents
Reliable and professional, you show up on time and are committed to doing your best
Coachable and open-minded, you want feedback and want to improve
Flexible schedule, weekday evenings between 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM (minimum 2–3 days/week)




Must be able to commit long-term — we are seeking permanent coaches who can commit for at least 2–3 years

Requirements
Previous coaching experience is required
Played at a competitive level (college, university, or professional preferred)
Robust passion for basketball and teaching youth athletes
Located in Vancouver or able to commute reliably
Reliable and professional

Commitment Expectations:
Able to coach at least 2 to 3 times per week
Consistently show up early and prepared
Take pride in delivering high-quality training
