Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join our energetic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the construction process by accurately assessing project costs, preparing estimates, and contributing to the overall project management. This position requires solid analytical skills, a solid understanding of construction estimating, and the ability to negotiate effectively with vendors and subcontractors.

Responsibilities
Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates for construction projects.
Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure accurate project pricing and timelines.
Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to secure the best prices for materials and services.
Maintain organized records of estimates, contracts, and correspondence related to projects.
Monitor project progress and adjust estimates as necessary based on changes in scope or unforeseen circumstances.
Assist in the preparation of bid documents and presentations for potential clients.





Skills
Proficiency in construction estimating software such as HeavyBid and Bluebeam is highly desirable.
Robust negotiation skills to effectively manage vendor relationships and secure favorable terms.
Excellent project management abilities to oversee multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
In-depth knowledge of construction processes, materials, and industry standards.
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for accurate cost assessments.
Ability to communicate effectively with team members, clients, and subcontractors.
A proactive approach to problem-solving with a focus on delivering high-quality results.

Pay: $70,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
