Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Dump Truck Driver to join our team. This role involves operating heavy-duty dump trucks to transport materials safely and efficiently across various job sites. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of commercial driving regulations, heavy equipment operation, and vehicle maintenance. Prior experience with forklift operation, freight handling, and automotive repair is a plus, ensuring smooth operation and safety compliance on the job.

Duties
Operate dump trucks to transport construction materials, debris, or other loads to designated locations
Ensure the safe loading and unloading of materials, adhering to weight limits and safety protocols
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to identify mechanical issues or safety concerns
Maintain accurate logs of trips, loads, and maintenance activities
Assist with forklift operations when necessary for loading or unloading cargo
Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting as needed to keep vehicles in optimal condition
Follow all traffic laws and company safety policies during transportation activities




Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding delivery schedules and site conditions

Requirements
Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for dump truck operation
Proven experience operating heavy equipment, including dump trucks and forklifts
Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety standards in transportation
Ability to perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting on heavy vehicles
Strong understanding of safety regulations related to commercial driving and heavy equipment operation
Excellent driving record with no recent violations or accidents
Physical ability to load, unload, and secure materials; capable of working in various weather conditions
Prior experience in construction, mining, or related industries is preferred but not required
