Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Carpenter to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry, construction, and related trades, with the ability to interpret blueprints and schematics. This role involves working on RV and park model certified tinyhomes utilizing a wide range of tools and techniques to deliver high-quality craftsmanship. The Carpenter will collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to safety standards and building codes.

Responsibilities
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to determine project requirements.
Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and other materials using hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment as needed.
Construct frameworks, cabinets, flooring, and general carpentry
finishing tasks with precision.
Install doors, windows, cabinetry, flooring, and other fixtures according to specifications.
Apply caulking and sealing techniques to ensure weatherproofing and insulation.
Assist with all aspects of and construction and painting when necessary.
Estimate material needs and assist with construction estimating processes.




Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Qualifications
Proven experience in carpentry or construction work is a plus.
Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding schematics is essential.
Skilled in the use of hand tools such as saws, hammers, chisels; power tools including drills and sanders
Knowledge of construction estimating processes and material calculations.
Ability to perform caulking, flooring installation, cabinetry installation tasks effectively.
Strong understanding of safety standards related to construction sites.
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Physical ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 pounds), stand for extended periods, climb ladders or scaffolding as needed.
Valid certification or relevant licensing is preferred but not mandatory depending on project requirements.
